THE SALOON
A virtual watering hole for everyone in deathcare.
Pull up a chair. Pour yourself a drink. Put down the weight of the day.
Sometimes you just need to be around people who get it.
Welcome to The Saloon — a free, informal monthly virtual gathering for anyone working in and around deathcare.
Funeral directors, celebrants, embalmers, death doulas, cemetery professionals, students, suppliers, creatives, end-of-life practitioners and everyone in between. You're all welcome.
No presentations. No sales pitches. No forced networking. No pretending you've got it all together.
Just good conversation, maybe a rant or two, and the chance to connect with people who understand this wonderfully weird world we work in.
The Saloon Is Open!

A little note from The Glam Reaper 💗
I spend a lot of time talking about grief, mental health, resilience and the importance of supporting the people who spend their lives supporting others.
But not every conversation needs a microphone, a panel discussion or a PowerPoint presentation.
Sometimes we just need a place to show up as ourselves.
So, once a month, I'm opening the virtual doors, pulling up a chair and seeing who wanders in.
No grand plans. No expectations. Just a little space for connection.
Hope to see you at the bar!

Take a moment. Stay a while.
